Mission Statement
STANDISH METHODIST CHURCH exists to worship God, our Heavenly Father and to make disciples of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, by being:-
Christ Centred:"I am the way the truth and the light" (John 14 Verse 6)
Cross Centred: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3 verse 16)
Community Centred: "Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples"
(John 13 verse 34)
We are committed to building a worshipping congregation in which each person feels they belong and are valued.
A place of welcome and safety in which we receive love, salvation, and healing as we grow spiritually through experiencing the grace of God. Together with our ecumenical partners we seek to relate to the needs of our community, through prayer and service.
